In 1978, Ion Exchange (India) Limited, was the first company in India to apply reverse osmosis technology as a complementary technology to ion exchange process for water treatment. Soon the company recognised the potential of membrane separation for industrial and domestic applications, this in the late 80s led to the set-up of membrane elements manufacturing facility in Gujarat.

Since then, under the brand name HYDRAMEM, we have been offering a wide range of membrane elements for domestic, institutional and industrial applications.

We are now manufacturing latest generation of reverse osmosis membranes conforming to international standards at our state-of-the-art ISO 9001 certified facility in Goa. Each membrane element is tested for all critical parameters to ensure consistency of its performance over its guaranteed life.
